Dom Chiera Photography dates back to 1975. Since then we’ve won countless awards. We’ve mentioned a few on this website just to back up our credentials. Speaking of credentials, Dom attended Winona School of Photography, Triangle Institute and continues to take on-line classes to keep up on the latest technology and trends.

To us your happiness means a lot. Anyone who has done business with us can tell you that if you want a reliable photographer with creative ideas, then we are the studio you’re looking for. After all, Dom has photographed hundreds of weddings and special events and thousands of high school seniors as well as family portraits and business portraits.

We recently revamped our entire business. Most of the work shown here comes from the early 1990s and 1980s. Since the mid-1990s Dom Chiera Photography has strictly been devoted to fine art. On our home page you can see some examples of our most creative and up-to-date photos.

We have seen the change and advent of digital photography. Photography has evolved to include so many new and exciting possibilities. So we are now again offering creative coverage for weddings and special events. With the new technology, we are masters of our trade from old school to the new age. We even have an IT / digital artist who just so happens to be our son, Chris. He is also an award winning artist who focused on Graphic Design. It’s interesting how things turn out.

Our best kept secret is the way in which we compose our photographs. Meaning we take much consideration in composition, hyerarchy, and lighting. The beauty of digital photography now is that you can really make your colors sing at the hands of our very own artists! Before we had to rely strictly on our labs to process the prints to our and the client’s liking.

We have always used the most up to date technologies. Our offices are now back at home where we color correct and arrange all of our work. We offer a wide array of services as well! When we say we offer a wide array of services we are talking about print graphics, web graphics, presentations, wedding & event coverage, and dvds! Between everyone in the family we can pretty much give you anything you want. So if you want a print to hang on your wall we can do that! If you want an interactive dvd presentation we can do that as well and everything in between. With all of the digital technology we have today you can use digital photography in many different ways. Really the sky is the limit!
