Tips for preparing for your session:
For Guy's and Girl's :
Avoid wide horizontal stripes, this is not a flattering pattern to use for photographs.
Clothing should be brought in on hangers rather than folded – wrinkles will show.
Check your fit in the mirror, when clothing is too tight it pulls rather than drapes you. Tight clothing is not the same as fitted clothing. Tight fabrics that pull will add weight.
Choose your outfits and make selections from head to toe. Shoes, socks, belts, jewelry & undergarments matter.
Bring out your sparkling smile by using a whitener.
Have a special idea for your photos? Tell us your ideas, we want your photos to be unique to you.
Include a solid colored long sleeved shirt with your outfits.
Select an outfit that matches your eye color or hair color.
Dark colors slenderize your silhouette and light colors will expand it.
Eye glasses glare can be avoided by bringing a spare set of frames (no lenses) borrowed from your optometrist.
If you have a sunburn – natural sunlight or tanning bed induced – please reschedule your appointment.
Don’t try a new hairstyle or make-up style for your senior portraits.
Express yourself in a variety of ways – have some with smiles and some without.
Although glitter is pretty, glitter & photography don’t mix. However, extra mascara is recommended. Bring powder & lipstick for touch ups.
Hands and feet will show in some shots, having your nails polished will finish off your look.
